Netezza DBA:
· Good Understanding of the Netezza Architecture and underlying data distribution
· Configure and review query history and maintaining
· To ensure the Gen Stats updated on all respective tables in Netezza.
· To handling Materialize views, zone maps for performance tuning
· (Groom process) for large amount of tables.
· Performance Tuning in Netezza and writing ADOC Queries (NPS –Netezza Performance Server)
· Ensure that support metrics are captured & escalation, incident backlog properly managed.
· To get plan file based on that take necessary action for performance.
· Production troubleshoot issues If any disk failed then work with IBM to replace.
· Creating and Maintain the Database on NPS
· Managing all kind of nzsql utilities process.
· Creating user, groups and grant the respective permissions
· To migrate data from various NPS to another NPS system
· Working Workbench Aginity tool for using NPS SQL Query
· Data Migration and Up gradation of Netezza system.
· Writing Shell scripts.
· Ensure DB Monitoring is done.
· Configure the system catalogs cleaning process and ensure all disk spare’s ready on time.
· Configure the Events need basis on business
Netezza Development:
· Strong experience with SQL Development/NZSQL including Stored Procedures
· must have used external table, NZLOAD for file loading and unloading
· Experience on Materialized views, CBTs
· Good Understanding of the Netezza Architecture and underlying data distribution
· Experience creating and maintaining Netezza User Defined Functions and User Defined Aggregates
· Netezza specific performance tuning experience
· Understanding of core Business Intelligence (BI)/data warehousing technology
· Business Intelligence development experience and programming experience
· Experience on using NZADMIN tool
Talend :
· Experience with Talend HVR & Big data experience is a plus.
· Strong in DW concepts, Requirement gathering and analysis, Translating functional requirements to technical requirements, BI Architecture, Design & ETL/Reporting aspects
· Good in dimensional modeling. Experience in ERWin tool will be a plus.
· Good in source system analysis and data profiling
· Strong SQL & performance tuning skills is required
